Chocolate cake with apples | Simple Recipe

There is nothing better than a moist, lovely, homemade cake freshly taken out of the owen! 
I love when my family comes over. We sit around table, talk and eat! The family meeting is a perfect occasion to bake a cake. Here is the very simple recipe that I recently tried out. 

Chocolate cake with apples

Ingridients:

 4 eggs
1 cup of sugar
2 cups of flour
1 cup of sunflower oil
2 big spoons of cocoa powder
1 little spoon of baking powder
1 little spoon of baking soda
2 big peeled apples

Whisk the eggs with sugar on high speed until thick foam. Add flour, cacao, 1 little spoon of baking soda and baking powder. At the end add oil. When all ingredients are combined, add diced apples. Bake 40 min in 180°C. When the cake is baked, sift on it caster sugar or sprinkle it with coconut. 


Tip

Check if the cake is alrady baked with a wooden toothpick. If it is runny in the middle, keep it for longer in the owen.

    Oh this sounds amazing! I have made apple cakes many a time in autumn but never thought to have a chocolate cake with apples, definitely got to try it this year! :D xx
